Obsolescence - View 1 by Galindorf Obsolescence - View 1 by Galindorf
Once the glorious star of its master's attention, now a forgotten relic under glass. It wasn't needed any more when its master found an improved method. It was so close...

Approximately 6" in its glass dome.

Paper, string, glue, wire, glass dome, dried orchid.

One of my favorite pieces....this piece now sits under a larger glass dome...kids feel safer now that there are 2 layers of glass between them and this little guy

your sculpture work is just so fascinating. it seems something grown and animated instead of born.

Well, you know, that's how I feel about them too. Like they come -through- me. I don't know how to explain it exactly. I don't look back at them and think "I made this." It's more along the lines of "Nice to meet you."

Yes, yes, yes, YES!

Superb texture and shape!

I love that it echoes something so very familiar and beautiful to me!
